What Clockodial collects, why, and who sees it. Last updated August 21, 2026.
Clockodial is a product of Kolob Labs LLC. This page explains what we collect, why, and who sees it — in plain English, because privacy policies should be readable.
What we collect
Account information: the name, email address, and company details the person who signs up provides. Workforce records: the information an employer enters or their employees generate by using the clock — names, contact details, hours worked, breaks, time off, and optionally a birthday (month and day only; we never ask for the year). Punch locations: only if an employer turns on location checks, and only at the moment someone clocks in or out — Clockodial never tracks anyone's location between punches, full stop. Billing: payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. We also keep routine technical logs to keep the service working and secure.
How we use it
To run the service: recording hours, calculating time off, producing payroll exports, and sending service emails. Most notification emails can be turned off on your profile page; a few always send because they protect you — for example, a notice that your recorded hours were changed. We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your data to train AI models.
If you're an employee
Your employer controls your record in Clockodial — we process it on their behalf and on their instructions. If something about your information is wrong or you have questions about how your employer uses it, talk to your employer first; that is who can fix it. Your hours belong to the record: if anyone changes them, Clockodial emails you.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers that make Clockodial work: Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Google (application hosting and our business email), Resend (delivering the emails Clockodial sends), and Stripe (payments). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. Beyond that, we disclose data only if the law requires it. Companies on Clockodial are isolated from each other — one company can never see another's data.
Retention and security
We keep your company's data while your account is active. If you cancel, we retain it for 60 days so you can export or return, then we may delete it. Data is encrypted in transit, access is controlled, and every database query is scoped to your own company.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we'll notify company administrators before the change takes effect. Questions: legal@clockodial.com. Clockodial is a product of Kolob Labs LLC.
