Works with the payroll provider you already have
We build the file they import. Switch providers and your time tracking doesn't move.
No card required.
One file, shaped for whoever pays your people
Most payroll providers accept a spreadsheet of hours. Clockodial builds that spreadsheet in the exact shape yours asks for — you set the columns once, and every pay period after that is a download.
OnPay
Running in production, pay-item ids and all. It was the first format we built and it stays the reference one.
Gusto, ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks
Build the layout from their sample import file — columns, order, header row, date style. Takes about five minutes, once.
Your accountant
If a person does your payroll rather than software, send them the same file. Name it however they like it named.
Changing providers
Build the new format, pick it at the top of your next export. Your hours, people and history stay exactly where they are.
Nothing to install
No plugin, no connector to authorise, no third party holding your payroll credentials. A file you download and upload.
No card required.
Common questions
Do you connect to my payroll system automatically?
Not today — Clockodial produces the import file and you upload it. It means we work with every provider instead of a short list, and nobody has to hand us payroll credentials.
What if my provider isn't listed?
That's the normal case, and it's fine. If they accept a spreadsheet of hours, you can build a format for them yourself — or send us their sample file and we'll build it with you.
